Bisan was founded in 1963, as the first serial manufacturer of bicycles in Turkey . In 1974 establishing an extra new factory started the production of 50cc mopeds under the licence of Peugeot MTC-France, in 1993 renewing all the bicycle factory with all machinary and production lines it has became as one of the 3 biggest and integrated factories in Europe. Additionally to its production starting from 1998 it has also introduced & distributed with success in the local market of scooters, electrical bicycles, electrical scooters from France, China, Korea, Taiwan. In 2004, we had started to import and assembly motorcycles with four stroke engine from strong chinese branded motorcycles companies. With this occasion, we enlarged our scale of products and we became a company controlling 30% of the market in short & mid term. We are planning with some foreigners partners to establish four strokes engine production lines in our factory .We are negotiating about this project.With an open area of 85.470 m2 and covered area of 50.876 m2 , bisan has the annual production capacity of 800.000 bicycles, 60.000 mopeds and motocycles, 2.700.000 rims and continues its production with a human source of 250 workers.Bisan is a well-known and trustable brand in Turkish market for more than 50 years and has success in local market with it is professional and well organised marketing network that consists of; 500 product & spare parts dealers and 750 after sales maintenance & repairement services for bicycles & motocycles our products are sold all around Turkey and our company has a well-established network of dealers for around the whole country. Bisan has also improved itself in the foreign countries by its best quality production by exportation to european countries as Germany, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Holland, Switzerland, Scandinavian countries, and African& Middle East countries as Iran, Iraq, Algeria, Maroc, Tunis, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Mauritus. By this order, we had our own distributors in different countries such Algeria, Tunisia, Bulgaria.We as BISAN are indeed interested in development of our trading activities. We have a very good knowledge and potential in the two wheeled vehicles.
